Hannah grew up and still lives in the East Midlands. She attended a local Grammar School before heading to University to first study business before moving on to study for a law degree followed by a Masters. Hannah is a proud single mum of one daughter who is now grown up and living her own life.
Throughout her career she has worked in a variety of growth, sales and marketing roles around the country. Most recently this has meant splitting her time between a national private equity backed professional services firm and a leading legal marketing agency as a self employed consultant.
Hannah's passion is sport, and equestrianism more specifically. For a short period after studying, she chose to chose to ride horses professionally. She was fortunate enough to represent Great Britain on numerous occasions, both at home and abroad, including in South Korea, Algeria, Tokyo and New York.
Over the last decade or more Hannah has chosen to take up a variety of positions allowing her to make a difference in a mixture of communities. She has been heavily involved with equestrianism in Universities and Colleges, battling against the national problem of teenagers dropping out of sport at the age of 18. Under her stewardship, the program has grown beyond everyone's expectations and participation is at an all time high.
She has previously been a school governor of a failing local primary school - helping to move it towards improvement and a Charitable Trustee of a national sporting charity.
Hannah was elected to proudly to represent and care for residents in Belvoir ward as a Conservative District Councillor in 2015 having won her seat in a by-election and she was re-elected in the May elections in 2019 with an increased majority. She joined the Cabinet with responsibility for Communications and Engagement at that point as well as serving on committees until she stepped down in 2023 due to lack of available time.
She is a consistently active member of her local Conservative Association, participating in and leading campaigning, chairing selection committees and holding the position of Deputy Chairman Political.
Hannah has willingly played her part for the Conservative cause during General Elections. In 2019 Hannah was the Conservative candidate in Sheffield Brightside and Hillsborough constituency increasing the Conservative vote share and taking the number of votes in this Labour heartland over 10,000 for the first time. In 2024, Hannah managed the successful voluntary campaign in Grantham and Bourne constituency for Gareth Davies MP as well as proudly standing as the Conservative candidate in South Down, Northern Ireland maintaining the Conservative tradition of standing candidates in all parts of the union.
